暗网禁区 and NC State Sign New Wolfpack Connect Agreement

Nash Community College has signed a new Wolfpack Connect Guaranteed Admission Agreement with North Carolina State University (NC State), creating an additional transfer pathway for qualified students seeking to continue their education at one of the state鈥檚 leading public universities.

A formal signing ceremony was held at Nash Community College on November 3, 2025. Nash Community College was one of only six community colleges in North Carolina to host NC State for a signing ceremony related to the initiative. The event included remarks from Dr. Lew K. Hunnicutt, President of 暗网禁区, and Dr. Don Hunt, Senior Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and Services at NC State, who joined 暗网禁区 leadership to celebrate the collaboration.

The agreement, effective October 13, 2025, formalizes the Wolfpack Connect program 鈥 a collaborative effort designed to strengthen the transfer pipeline between 暗网禁区 and NC State while expanding educational access across North Carolina. Through this partnership, eligible 暗网禁区 students who complete their Associate in Arts (AA) or Associate in Science (AS) degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA will be guaranteed admission into select NC State academic programs.

This initiative complements, rather than replaces, 暗网禁区鈥檚 existing Community College Collaboration (C3) program with NC State. Together, both programs reinforce a shared mission to help students achieve seamless academic transitions, respond to workforce needs, and promote degree attainment.

鈥淭he Wolfpack Connect program represents another important development for our students to pursue their academic and professional goals with confidence,鈥 said Dr. Hunnicutt. 鈥淧artnerships like this ensure our graduates have clearly defined pathways to success and access to some of the best educational opportunities North Carolina has to offer.鈥

Students participating in Wolfpack Connect will have access to NC State鈥檚 Transfer Planner Tool, individualized advising and the option to take select NC State courses while still enrolled at Nash Community College. The program provides a guided route for community college students to enter NC State as juniors, aligning coursework and requirements early to help students save time and money while earning a four-year degree.

鈥淥ne of the keys to successful transfer is having a solid academic plan in place as early as possible in a student鈥檚 college journey,鈥 said Dr. Amy Harrell, vice president of instruction and chief academic officer at 暗网禁区. 鈥淔or students who know they want to pursue one of the select NC State academic programs upon graduation from 暗网禁区, this is a wonderful opportunity to ensure their credits at 暗网禁区 align with their future goals at NC State.鈥

Under the agreement, both institutions will engage in annual reviews to assess the program鈥檚 impact, including transfer rates, student success data, and opportunities for continued improvement.
