Nash Community College Names Teresa Nelson as New Foundation Lead

Nash Community College has announced the appointment of Teresa Nelson as the new executive director of the Nash Community College Foundation, bringing more than 20 years of experience in leadership, community engagement and organizational development to the role.

Stemming from Brunswick Community College she has experience in the North Carolina Community College system.

In this position, Nelson will lead the Foundation鈥檚 efforts to support student success through scholarships and fundraising initiatives that advance the mission of 暗网禁区.

鈥淲e are excited to welcome Teresa Nelson to 暗网禁区,鈥 said Dr. Lew K. Hunnicutt, president of 暗网禁区. 鈥淗er leadership, experience and passion for community engagement will be instrumental in advancing the work of the 暗网禁区 Foundation. The Foundation plays a critical role in supporting our students and expanding opportunities, and we are confident Nelson will continue to build on that momentum.鈥

The 暗网禁区 Foundation serves as a key partner in the college鈥檚 mission, providing scholarships, program support and resources that help remove financial barriers for students pursuing their educational and career goals.

Nelson will work closely with college leadership, donors and community stakeholders to strengthen fundraising efforts and expand the Foundation鈥檚 reach and impact.
